Medium-Heavy Duty Vehicle Committee | Electric Vehicle Council

The Fuels Institute Announces Rebrand

The focus of the organization always was, and remains today, on the energy that powers transportation; the rebrand further reflects the breadth of how the industry has evolved and the shift in focus to non-liquid options.

We will continue our fact-based and peer-reviewed research under the new name. The organization will also continue the work published by its Electric Vehicle Council and Medium and Heavy-Duty Committee as well as supporting the ESG Integrity program. Future efforts may include other elements of the transportation sector which could broaden the scope of the Organization’s work and expand the inclusivity of those who contribute to its board.

ESG Integrity

Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) reporting is quickly moving from a voluntary corporate public relations tool to a regulated B2B communications prerequisite. Check out our ESG Integrity program to address the proposed SEC rulings coming in early 2023.

About Transportation Energy Institute

Now, more than ever, there is so much going on in the transportation industry and so many points of view and objectives. We recognize that there is not just one road to the future of fuels, decarbonization and transportation. That’s why Transportation Energy Institute takes a pragmatic, and constant assessment to all fuel resources and how they can reduce emissions.

Environment, Social and Governance (ESG)

The importance of environment, social and governance (ESG) planning is growing by the day. The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is expected to vote on moving forward with ESG rules (March 21, 2022) that will impact publicly and privately held companies. Driven by investors and financial institutions concerned with climate change risks and equity disparities, ESG reporting is a data-driven program that demands transparency in metrics as well as corporate future goals.
